How the Pursuing Performance Advisory Works

The Pursuing Process

High performance is not built in a single breakthrough moment. It is developed through a deliberate process of training, testing, refining, and applying skills under increasing levels of pressure.

The Pursuing Performance Advisory combines immersive in-person experiences with ongoing coaching and accountability throughout the year. Every component is designed to help you access your skills consistently when performance matters most.

Quarterly Performance Intensives

Four times per year, we meet for an intensive three-day private training experience.

Format

  • 3 Days
  • 5 Hours Per Day
  • Personalized and highly focused
  • Built around your unique performance challenges and goals

These quarterly intensives follow the Pursuing framework:

01Workshop

Learn the Skills

The Workshop environment develops the foundational tools required for high-level performance.

Training may include:

  • Awareness training
  • Attention control
  • Acceptance training
  • Breathwork
  • Meditation
  • Nervous system regulation
  • Pursuit vs. avoidance mindset development
  • Performance routines
  • Decision-making frameworks

This is where we build the skills necessary to perform under pressure.

02Lab

Train the Skills

Knowledge alone does not create performance.

The Lab environment bridges the gap between understanding and application. Here, we systematically challenge and strengthen your ability to use these tools in controlled but demanding situations.

Training focuses on:

  • Applying awareness under stress
  • Directing attention intentionally
  • Responding instead of reacting
  • Emotional regulation
  • Skill access drills
  • Competitive simulations
  • Performance feedback and refinement

The objective is to make high-performance behaviors more automatic and repeatable.

03Arena

Perform Under Pressure

The Arena is where performance is tested.

Pressure exposes what has and has not been trained. The goal is not to eliminate pressure but to develop the ability to perform effectively in its presence.

Arena training includes:

  • Competitive environments
  • Score-based performance challenges
  • Consequence-driven scenarios
  • Real-world pressure simulations
  • Decision-making under stress
  • Performance recovery training

This is where we learn to trust our preparation and access our capabilities when the stakes are highest.

Between Quarterly Intensives

Performance development continues long after the in-person sessions end.

Individual Coaching Sessions

Personal coaching sessions provide ongoing guidance, accountability, and refinement between intensives.

Together we:

  • Review performance experiences
  • Identify emerging challenges
  • Adjust training priorities
  • Strengthen pursuit-based behaviors
  • Accelerate implementation

Executive Performance Calls

Every three weeks, we meet via Zoom for a strategic performance review.

These sessions help ensure:

  • Consistent progress
  • Immediate problem solving
  • Accountability to commitments
  • Reinforcement of key concepts
  • Continued growth between in-person meetings

The purpose is to prevent drift and maintain momentum throughout the year.

The Ultimate Objective

Most professionals already possess the skills necessary to perform at a higher level.

The challenge is rarely a lack of capability.

The challenge is accessing those capabilities when pressure rises.

The Pursuing Performance Advisory is designed to help you:

  • Access your skills on demand
  • Remain composed under pressure
  • Make better decisions in critical moments
  • Shorten recovery time after setbacks
  • Build stable confidence
  • Perform with greater consistency

Because performance under pressure is not an accident.

It is trained.
